We’re on the downhill slide to Christmas, friends, and if you’re looking to add a little last minute festiveness to your mani, then we have the answer. All you need is two pieces of scotch tape (which you should have on hand from wrapping presents), and a glittery, metallic, or contrasting color polish to what you’re already wearing.
Pick a nail, and lay your tape down to create a deep triangle. This is your tree. Carefully paint between the tape and give it a moment to start to dry. Normally you would want to be quite careful when removing the tape, to keep the lines all nice and straight. Not this time. If the edge of the tree is a bit rough and ragged, that’s ok – real Christmas trees are a bit rough and ragged too. Once your tree has tried, you can dress it up with a dot of glitter on the top, and some smaller dots as baubles, or you can just leave it plain. Seal with a topcoat.
