If you think nail art is on the way out, then you are mistaken. Minimalist nails may have been a hit on the runway, but nail art seems to be what everyone is still talking about. So much so that Oxygen Media is launching a new program centered on the continuing trend. NAIL’D IT will pit 18 passionate nail artists against one another as they primp and polish nails to perfection with their creative and outlandish designs. Everything from extreme 3D creations to flat paint designs will be seen with talented contestants using any materials necessary to create their masterpieces. Hosted by nail enthusiast Adrienne Bailon (The Real), NAIL’D IT will have artists vying for the grand prize of $100,000 and the chance to have their work featured in a cover story for Nail It! magazine. “Nails are the ultimate fashion accessory and I couldn’t be more excited to host NAIL’D IT” said Bailon.”I’ve always been obsessed with nail art and I can’t wait for everyone to see the creativity, passion and talent of these 18 artists. They are going to be blown away!”
