Working in the nail polish biz, I get hundreds of emails a week from brands and PRs telling me about their latest color/collection/product and why consumers need to hear about it. Part of our job here at pedicure.com is to take all this info, figure out the good from the not-so-good, and make your life easy by telling you what you need to know.
When a brand launches a new color range, the news release is usually pretty formulaic: ‘coming soon/on shelves now’ ‘there are X number of lacquers in the line’ ‘why it is seasonally relevant/on trend’ ‘the inspiration behind the collection’. Lather, rinse, repeat. So when Morgan Taylor sent this super cute flow chart for their new Island Treasures collection, I actually paused to truly appreciate the creativity. I love a good flow chart – I obsessively did any sort of ‘what X are you?’quiz in magazines growing up, and these days I love a good Buzzfeed quiz (apparently I am Kanye West, Audrey Hepburn, Hercules, I was obsessed with The O.C., and I have excellent manners).
So tell me…what Island Treasure are you? The flow chart says I am Going Native, which is 100% accurate because it is my favorite shade of the six and literally what I am wearing right now.
