The saying goes, you can’t wear white after Labor Day, but should that extend to your nail polish? This fashion rule can be traced back to the early 1900’s when the rich and snobby used this ‘rule’ to separate themselves from those they saw as lesser than them. White was seen as a color only to be worn during the Summer months. Here at the Pedicure office we say boo to this tradition for your manicures, a white mani can really pop in Winter time. So, we have rounded up our favorite white polishes for you to rock before (or after) Labor Day!

This white polish has a lovely consistency and is a classic white color, perfect for showing off that Summer tan and ensuring it lives on into the Winter months!

More of a putty grey color than your traditional white, this polish is just gorgeous and perfect for those wanting to rock the white manicure after Labor Day. This grey/white color is gorgeous in Summer AND Winter!

This white polish is absolutely gorgeous and even though it was designed with brides in mind, doesn’t mean you can’t wear it as an everyday mani! We love how the subtle silver shimmer in the white makes it really stand out.
Nails Inc ‘Neon Activator Base Coat’
This is great because if you don’t want to wear white after Labor Day, you can use this polish as a brightening base coat for any neon polishes or just any polish you feel needs brightening! It would also work very well as a base coat for a sheer polish.
